Dailywell ("Dailywell," "we," "us") runs the store at dailywellhealth.co, which is hosted on Shopify. This policy explains what personal information we collect when you visit the site, buy from us, or contact us, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to the website and to any emails, texts, and support conversations with us (together, the "Services").
Dailywell is the controller of your personal information under applicable data protection laws.
1. What we collect
- Contact details: name, shipping and billing address, phone number, email address.
- Payment information: card details and payment confirmation. Card numbers are processed by our checkout and payment providers. We don't store full card numbers ourselves.
- Order information: what you viewed, added to cart, bought, cancelled, or asked to have refunded.
- Account information: login details, preferences, and settings, if you create an account.
- Messages to us: anything you include when you email or message our support team.
- Device and usage information: IP address, browser, device type, pages visited, links clicked, and how long you stayed, collected through cookies, pixels, and similar technologies.
2. Where it comes from
- From you, when you place an order, create an account, sign up for emails or texts, leave a review, or contact us.
- Automatically, through cookies and similar technologies when you use the site.
- From service providers that work for us, such as our checkout, payment, shipping, and analytics providers.
- From advertising and social media partners, for example when you click one of our ads.
3. How we use it
- To run the store: process payments, ship orders, send order and shipping updates, handle refunds, manage your account, and show reviews.
- For marketing: send emails and, if you opt in, text messages about products and offers; show you Dailywell ads on other sites and apps based on your activity on ours.
- For security: prevent fraud, verify transactions, and protect the store and our customers.
- For support: answer your questions and keep a record of our conversations.
- For legal reasons: comply with laws, respond to lawful requests, and enforce our terms.
- To improve: understand how the site is used so we can make it work better.
4. Health-related information
We don't ask for health information to sell you our products. Some state laws treat the purchase of a dietary supplement, or information you share with support about how you feel, as consumer health data. We use that information only to fulfill your order, support you, and meet legal obligations, or for other purposes when you've given consent where the law requires it. We do not sell consumer health data.
5. Who we share it with
- Shopify, which hosts our store (see "Our relationship with Shopify" below).
- Service providers that act on our behalf: checkout and payment processing (including Cartpanda), shipping carriers and fulfillment, email and text messaging, customer support, reviews, analytics, and cloud storage.
- Advertising and marketing partners, such as Meta, to show and measure our ads. These partners handle data under their own privacy policies.
- Others, at your direction, for example when you share a product on social media or log in with a third-party account.
- For legal and business reasons: to comply with a subpoena or court order, to protect our rights or the safety of others, or as part of a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets.
Under some U.S. state laws, sharing data with advertising partners for targeted advertising can count as a "sale" or "sharing" of personal information. You can opt out at any time (see section 9).
6. Our relationship with Shopify
Our store is hosted by Shopify, which collects and processes personal information about your use of the Services to provide and improve them. Information you submit may be sent to Shopify and to third parties in countries other than yours. Shopify is responsible for processing your information for its own purposes and for responding to your rights requests about that processing. Learn more in the Shopify Consumer Privacy Policy and at the Shopify Privacy Portal.
7. Cookies
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, understand how the site is used, and measure and personalize ads. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings. Some parts of the store, like the cart and checkout, may not work without them.
8. Emails and text messages
You can unsubscribe from marketing emails with the link at the bottom of any email. If you opt in to marketing texts, message frequency varies and message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to unsubscribe or HELP for help. Consent to texts is never a condition of purchase. We'll still send messages about your orders and account after you unsubscribe from marketing.
9. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the rights below. They aren't absolute and may not apply in every case.
- Access / know: ask what personal information we hold about you.
- Delete: ask us to delete your personal information.
- Correct: ask us to fix information that's inaccurate.
- Portability: get a copy of your information and ask us to send it to another company.
- Opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising: use our data sharing opt-out page. We recognize Global Privacy Control (GPC) signals and apply the opt-out to your browser and, where possible, your account. We don't respond to other "Do Not Track" signals.
- Marketing: opt out of marketing emails and texts at any time.
If you're in the UK or the European Economic Area, you can also object to or ask us to restrict certain processing, and withdraw consent where we rely on it. Withdrawing consent doesn't affect processing that already happened.
To use any of these rights, email support@dailywellhealth.co. We may need to verify your identity first. You can use an authorized agent, who must show proof of permission. We won't treat you differently for using your rights, and we'll respond within the time the law requires.
10. Complaints
If you have a concern about how we handle your information, email us first. Depending on where you live, you may be able to appeal our decision or file a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the EEA, you can find your authority here.
11. Children
Our products and Services are for adults and are not directed at children. We don't knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of majority where they live. If you believe a child has given us information, email us and we'll delete it. We have no actual knowledge of selling or sharing the personal information of anyone under 16.
12. Security and retention
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information, but no system is completely secure, and information sent over the internet can't be guaranteed safe. We keep personal information as long as we need it to run your account, fulfill orders, meet legal and tax obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our policies.
13. International transfers
Your information may be stored and processed outside the country where you live, including in the United States. When we transfer information out of the UK or EEA, we rely on recognized transfer mechanisms, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or the UK equivalent, unless the destination has been found to provide adequate protection.
14. Third-party sites
Our site may link to other websites. We're not responsible for their privacy or security practices, so please read their policies. A link isn't an endorsement.
15. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy to reflect changes in our practices or in the law. We'll post the new version here with a new "Last updated" date and give notice where the law requires it.
